After I watched the film I had to double check online to make sure that this film was not written directed and produced by sentient cocaine. Thank god it wasnt! A human mind was acctually behind this incredibly tragic tale of how far a mom shark would go to revenge her son.

Now before I get into the plot that I give 5 stars to the guy just for thinking about it! Am I crazy or is this the plot. Ok so at the start we get an amazeing scene of a cop getting killed on a boat. It's the Ellen brody's youngest son. She is devastated and decides to move away to Hawaii. Why not tuscon Arizona where their isnt a water body in 1000 miles I dont know!

But in a twist the shark follows her with the help of a phsycic connection. It turns out this shark is the mom from the first films classic villian! Please tell me I didnt hallucinate this! I almost feel like rooting for the poor sad shark! All in all the beginning scene is one of my favorite scenes in cinema and stuck with me as a kid. But other than that it just gets wackier and wackier! And sir Michael Caine makes a appearance wich boogles my mind even more! He read the script and agreed to be in it!

Their is kind of a lovecraft loving going on right now. Hes always been one of my favorite authors. Nobody portrayed isolation and losing your mind like that could guy could describe in words.

This is by far the most faithful lovecraft inspired film I've seen. The characters are hopeless and are trapped and by the end their losing their minds seeing what they have seen. Knowing what they know.

It's also just a call back to horror in general practical effects rubber suits! It's cool and I'm excited to see what these guys come up with next.

I have no idea how anybody could hate this film! This would be the perfect opening for a trilogy! So much character development that I felt for every character. The new magik and lockheed origin is so sad yet beautiful. True friendship and so much potential for more.

The film its self is a breath of fresh air in the super hero genre, a new take on it. I'm sorry but my god how can you watch the literal same popcorn flick over and over with no character development? This is dark and I mean that in every sense of the word. Each character has went through something traumatic. They are teens dealing with their trauma in realistic ways. Then they all work together and care for one another. Magik and Lockheed literally brought tears to my eyes.

I'm seriously hoping that a trilogy happens. Film lovers need this. Josh Boone I'm sorry I said you suck for wasting your time on fault in the stars. You rule!

I give this a 1 star rating because of 1 scene. Now I do not kill people for a living. But if I did kill people for a living, I would not try to assassinate a man who is target shooting a .50 caliber sniper rifle. From a friggen house with a pistol!! Also only bring 2 of us. Literally any other time is a better time to kill a guy! Hes going to be at a police station reporting theft. Walk up and punch him to death right their is a better plan! For that Turkey crap writing you get 1 star Bill Dubuque!

This is not even close to worst film of all time. It deserves a higher rating than it has. It was made on a bet and the guy succeeded. Is it bad yes yes very bad. But it has atleast a somewhat coherent plot and decent acting. Something Alein 3000 does not haha

Am I the only person who gets the Nikola tesla reference here or what?

Alright so story gos, Nikola tesla invented a type of radio that started picking up weird ass noises. He got obsessed with them and believed he was hearing voices beyond the grave.

Creepy story good idea for a film. The noises he herd were not ghosts. Just amplified sounds the earth makes. Still a cool read!

This film has one of the most interesting premises I've ever encountered. The story follows cult acting legend (heat) Henry Rollins as Cain. The first son of Adam and Eve.

He was banished to live alongside sinners for all of eternity as an immortal and cursed to feed on the blood of sinners. After he killed his brother abel out of jealousy. Some of this story was tweaked for the movie. His curse in the bible was just being immortal not the blood.

Hes now tired depressed and bored living thousands of years and he wants nothing more than to die. At one point he yells at a mysterious man to let him die. It takes a bible story and creates something new and fresh. It's funny gory and thought provoking. Also Henry Rollins is great.

If I was only able to watch avenger popcorn flicks life would not be worth living. Its films like snatchers, guns akimbo and crawl. That give me hope for the future of film.

This movie is far from perfect. But that is what makes it so good. It reminds me of those old classic horror films. The ones that progressed the plot in often cheesey ways but was in good fun. Puts a good spin on those sorts of films.

If your a fan of the 2 others I listed above then definitly give this one a watch. You wont be disappointed. I gave it an 8 because the actors were amazeing. The director for inexperienced definitly was not. Also the monster following the car but only seen with the break lights was the most hilarious scene I have watched in so long loved it!

Haha ok first off I'm canadien. This was free in my 24 pack of kokanee and we watched it very drunk lol.

Now it's not great but its decent. It's worth the watch to see snow get shot in the face with a flare gun. Blatant spoiler their I know but would you have watched it other wise?

This film doesnt deserve the hate it gets and it's quite comedic and well done. I understand why alot of people despise this film and it is not for everybody. It was made on a budget of 4 million and is done by 4 indy film makers. Its inspired by classics and wasnt ment to be a block buster obviously. It was a fun project between 4 friends and that's how films should be made.

The acting by tim roth is great! Marc Lawrence at the start of the film who also played a bell hop in an older film and inspired this one is a great add. Also Lawrence bender quentin tarantino's long time producer has his biggest acting role in this. Hes in practically all his older films. I do agree that the 4 storys get better as they progress. But tarantino's and robert rodrigueses storys are a must watch!

I think people should go into this film knowing it's a indy film by 4 indy directors made on a low budget. Take that into mind and just enjoy the fun! It also made its budget back and then some a huge feat for a film like this.

I was so insanely phsyced to see this movie! I got it for my tenth birthday over space jam! but wasn't allowed to watch it because of the numerous Boob scenes lol when my dad watched the day b4 my birthday!

I felt so jipped but the day came and all my hope of seeing kung fu jesus kick some ass! Was lost on the most hilarious movie ever made. Seriously the scenes with the boobs and theirs quite a few barley fit into the plot. The hilarious drill scene going to the nipple. My god it's so bad but good as well.

I recommend watching this to see if you can last through the whole thing.

I'm pretty blown away this film is only a 5.2 and people didnt enjoy this film. It's very inspired by the thing and does one hell of a job being the thing but also a different film entirely.

Definitely check this out as a fellow canadien I'm glad were finally getting some good films coming out. Huge fan of cronenberg and if your also a fan of his work you will enjoy black mountain side as well.

I love this film dont get me wrong. But has nobody wondered why its titled pulp fiction? Then lays out the definitions of pulp and fiction. The genius part of this project is it's about nothing! Theirs no meaning to any of it. That is why so much random stuff happens that would never happen. Its deliberately screwing with you. Also when asked what is in the case tarentino still screws with people and says I'll never tell. Because it's nothing!

Honestly this is one of the scariest films ever made in my mind. It's a very loose take on a true hoffifying drug trial in the UK. But it's more of a take on the mk ultra experiments.

Now people keep mentioning that their wasnt a story. I dont understand why people do not like being put in the shoes of a character. You are literally finding out about what's going on as the characters find out themselves. That's the truly scary part of the facility. They know nothing and find out nothing. This isn't a film that is going to wrap it up for you because the director wants you to research these events or your self.

The acting was great for a unknown cast. The effects were also very well done for a low budget film. If you enjoy phsycological horror films then definitely check this out. But just keep in mind that the director is not going to spoon feed you every single detail.

Ok first off I want to say this was a pretty good movie. But a terrible evil dead movie. It also missed the point of the original entirely.

Evil dead 1981 was a movie that absolutely terrified me as a kid. I got started with Army of darkness and eventually found out evil dead 1 and 2 were the predecessors. I was expecting hilarity one liners and over the top action. But what I got was something even better and this is where Evil dead 2013 misses the point entirely.

The evil dead trilogy is basically a decent into madness and trauma. Ashley William's slowley becoming Ash. In evil dead Ashley Williams is a romantic shy educated young man. He has a girl he wants to spend his entire life with. As the madness ensues he basically does nothing heroic and freezes being saved by scotty over and over through out the movie. Ashley William's is a wimp.

Evil dead 2 he is becoming Ash after the cabin has driven him literally mad. We see him change into a womanizing witty idiot who is a badass with a chainsaw hand. Before our very eyes.

Evil dead 2013 we follow David and he starts of a wimp like ashley then he slowley becomes a hero. To be killed off and were forced to then follow a character who we do not sympathize at all with after the first 10 minutes of the film when she is the first character to be possessed? Its dumb and I do not understand that choice. This is why this should have been called the cabin and not the evil dead.

This is by far one of the greatest films I've watched on addiction. Everyone who doesn't like shame talks about the lack of dialogue. But that was kind of the point. You watch an addict spiral out of control with his actions. Because of past trauma he and his sister went through.

It also ends on a realistic note. He is terrified and he was almost alone. It ends the same way any addicts day ends in real life. Will I relapse tomorrow will I ever get better can i find a better way to deal with my past.

Anyone who has struggled with addiction can relate to Michael Fassbenders character. I
