Naomi & Wynonna: Love Can Build a Bridge (1995)
Great Miniseries
I thought this show to be moving and wonderful, especially the acting of young Nick Roth as the young Mark Judd. I see great things in store for him in the future - keep an eye out for this young lad. I've heard rumors he will be in the upcoming CBS movie Crossed Over with Diane Keaton, playing her son and the 4th lead in the movie.
Jack the Dog (2001)
Fantastic piece of art
I saw this movie at the Sundance Film Festival, and it move me to tears, not only during the screening, but for days afterwards. The film was deep and beautiful, and I enjoyed every moment of it. This is a poignant piece of a father's struggle to find what love means to him, a search which he completes not through his dog-like love of women, but for his son, a true and more mature love. Anyone who dislikes this film is simply too ignorant to comprehend its scope and depth. I thought it was well written, well directed, well produced, and the acting was top notch. I give it two thumbs way up.
RPM (1997)
CAUTION: DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!!!
I must warn you all, as a fellow member of the human race, to steer clear of this film...far clear. I rented this movie, and now I want those 90 minutes of my life back. However, I must say it felt far longer than that.
RPM was a disgrace of a film. It promotes the idea that oil is a perfectly good erotic lubricant, and numerous other monstrously ridiculous concepts. I write this comment not to insult the film, but to actually warn the public of this wretched beast of motion picture entertainment.
