A Haunting in Venice (2023)
Need more of this :)
I will start by saying i haven't read the book(s) so i will not compare them with the movie(s). A classy Hercule Poirot by a classy Kenneth Branagh, yet again. Several times transitioning between classic Poirot, funny Poirot, dramatic Poirot... Difficult tone(s) to get just right by the main character as well as secondary characters, given the setting, but i think they all did it just right. As with the previous Hercule Poirot movies, i had the feeling i could watch it in a relaxed way without "hunting" for details which might turn up to be a clue. The surprises at the end of any of the movies can be seen like a cherry on top of whatever transpired during the movie. A fourth movie should definitely be made. The cinema room where i saw this was full.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
Yes
When you do a 4th movie you either do it right or you do it wrong. There were a couple of unanswered questions at the end of Revolutions. They answered the questions and the answer makes sense. It could have been cheesy but it wasn't - if there is a cheesy or artificial aspect - it's from the Matrix, which is plausible. It was plausible and probable. Maybe even inevitable. Free your mind. Happy viewing!
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)
Not like the movies, sure...
But the closest thing that could be achieved in the form of a series. I can see the high quality Marvel production. Give us season 2! Or another Captain America movie!
Unidentified: Inside America's UFO Investigation (2019)
Cutting edge
For what this show is.. It's cutting edge IMO. What this show means to each and every viewer is up to the viewer but my feeling is the topic itself (and all the topics that will spin off) should and probably will become of importance to us, collectively, some time (soon i hope) in the future.
