Psych (2006)
Psych:The Movie
Hey to all the psychos out there Don't forget to watch Psych:The Movie this December. I can't wait to see the crew back together again. Plus a few fresh faces and recurring guest stars. This 2 hour movie will be my highlight of 2017. So set your DVRs for the Psych movie. We get the crew for at least one more time. Maybe Shules are now married and there is a Psych office in San Fran. There were a lot of unanswered questions at the series finale. I hope they tied up some loose ends. Rock on Psych! Peace to all the psychos!!
Melissa & Joey (2010)
What happened?
First let me say I love Melissa & Joey. Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence are great in this show and make the whole love/hate relationship funny. The first 2 seasons were great. The first season had 30 episodes and the second had 15. I get that considering Melissa was pregnant and had her baby just before the second season ended. But I digress, the reason I named this review "What happened?" is because of the 3rd season. Where is Stephanie? Why isn't there anymore Toledo crisis Mel has to face? Are there new writers or something? The 3rd season is focusing mostly on relationships with Mel and some random guy and Joey with some random girl, even Lennox with too many boyfriends to count. I loved Ryder's gf Holly, too bad she dumped him. Well anyway I miss the other topics rather than fixing or not fixing relationships. Since I am a die-hard Melissa & Joey fan I will still DVR every episode, but they need to get back to roots that made this show great in the beginning.
The Big Bang Theory (2007)
Big Bang Theory - Bazinga
One of the funniest shows out there. I can always count on a laugh from TBBT. There are some questions out there that I might be able to address.
I get what most of the complaining is about. The whole Wolowitz getting married. Raj getting a crazy girlfriend, Sheldon and Amy Farrah Fowler, don't even get me started. And of course the beloved couple of Penny and Leonard. In the beginning of the series the main focus was on Penny and Leonard, but as time went on it seems the writers wanted to expand the other characters lives also. So Penny and Leonard broke up and then Amy and Bernie came along. Granted it's great seeing Blossom again. So the focus has been taking off of the main stars and though they are dating again, we are waiting for them to either break up again or Penny popping the question.
I will be a fan till the end. Funny to this day. Great, feel good, late night comedy.
Rules of Engagement (2007)
Farewell
I am writing this review just to say farewell to Rules of Engagement. After a 7 year run they decided it ran it's course.
Let just say that I loved the comedy and though many people said they couldn't stand the canned laughter, I mostly laughed when the laughter was queued. Patrick as Jeff was always so funny. His monotone and delivery of dialogue - perfect. One of his famous lines "Touchee"(sp?) or "well played" would always bring a laugh. Other great line: "super sperm", "shy dial", "Audrey is dumb", and "good advice Booger", among so many other great quotes. Jeff was just a likable guy. Megan as Audrey was the wife of Jeff. Audrey was funny, lovable, smart and beautiful. She played the role so believable as the career minded but wanted a baby lady. Girl next door likability. Her most noted lines were to Jeff : You're a jerk, or moron depending on the scene. And insulting Russell. In the diner: I wanted to share this with our friends...and Russell. Or walking into her house with Russell standing there: to Jeff: "Oh you bought me a garden gnome". Bianca as Jennifer and Oliver as Adam were great neighbors. Russell and Timmy as Adam's coworkers and definite comedic appeal were awesome. Various multiple other characters that reprised their roles were also familiar i.e. Liz.
To sign off: Farewell Rules of Engagement thanks for the 7 years.
