Lucifer: Partners 'Til the End (2021)
The Right Ending.
So much is said of shows that end badly. The Lucifer finale is so good because the producers and writers remembered the fans of the show when constructing the final season.
The addition of Brianna Hildebrand to the cast really elevated the show, making Season 6 the best season of all.
Well done to everyone. I'll really miss these characters.
The Towering Inferno (1974)
What A Ride!
Undoubtedly the greatest land-based disaster film of all time. Beaten in the genre overall only by The Poseidon Adventure.
Nothing made since comes remotely close.
Setting a disaster film in SF and for it NOT to be about 9.9 earthquake is almost genius.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 16: The Rescue (2020)
Stunning.
Farewell, wee green fella! We will miss you. You made us laugh, cry, snort and wonder what the hell goes on in your little head.
Joker (2019)
Worth The Hype
I waited for the hype to die down, as I do with most heavily marketed films, before watching Joker.
It's fair to say this film is very worthy of everything good that's been written and said of it.
Batwoman (2019)
Oh Dear...
This is a truly terrible show. Ruby Rose, as an actor, is unwatchable. The poor woman is so wooden she makes a park bench look like an Oscar winner.
Awful.
Dreadful.
Don't watch it.
The Purge (2018)
Forget Season 1
Don't bother watching season 1, it's awful. Season 2, however, is a better story and a better interpretation of the concept.
Uncut Gems (2019)
Outstanding!
What a hectic and fun ride. Non-stop entertainment from start to finish.
October Faction (2020)
Excellent Entertainment
Unlike many reviewers, I have no need to 1star shows solely because a mixed race gay character upsets their sensibilities.
It's excellent escapism, thoroughly entertaining and twisty enough to remain interesting to the final scene.
41 (2012)
Absolutely Fascinating
Just watch it.
There's a door in the floor that leads to yesterday.
