- TriviaFrench music hall entertainer, who sang in sidewalk cafés by the age of five and was an early paramour of Maurice Chevalier. She initially used the stage name "Pervenche". Frehel had a famously self-destructive nature and died an alcoholic and drug addict in abject poverty.
