- TriviaWhilst shooting in Kolkata for a song in a stadium. Neetu Singh started crying, who had recently got engaged and didn't want to be away from Rishi Kapoor. The phones in Kolkata weren't working and Rishi was upset that he couldn't get through to Neetu. Amitabh Bachchan asked Neetu why she was crying. Neetu said, she wanted to go back.' Amitabh called the producer, asked him to book Neetu's ticket back to Mumbai and said they would manage the song without Neetu. The whole song was changed. This is the reason why Neetu is in half of the song and then disappears.
- GoofsWhile organizing the cricket match inside the mental asylum, the fielding position that Kishen (Amitabh Bachchan) refers to as slips is actually short leg.

If it can entertain you, and has nostalgic importance, its worth 10 stars
Quite obvious reasons.
First of all excellent and memorable music, songs and score.
Its a simple movie with novel theme about friendship..
No dull moment,
Entertainment for full family. No vlgur jokes or comedy.
Its unlike contemporary bollywood masala movie that lacked music and story line.
Amitabh and Amjad khan, as usual portrayed their parts with excellence. Kader khan's dialogues were interesting.
I am given 10 stars to this movie may be because it pertains to my childhood memories, but isnt it the enough reason for given 10 stars?
Its director rakesh kumars last movie with amitabh.
10 stars...!
