At one time, Crocker operated the The Harry Crocker Museum, self-described as "The First Museum Dedicated To Famous Movie Props," which was located along Sunset Boulevard. The museum included props, costumes and pieces of sets and models from major silent films. The museum opened in 1928, but closed after only four months of operation.
