French cabaret director, founder of the Cabaret Michou in Paris where drag artists do parodies of singers and personalities.
Michou adopted an extravagant and kitschy clothing appearance, including famous blue glasses and a discoloured brushing.
He made no secret of his homosexuality.
A local celebrity, he appeared in a cameo as himself in the 1973 film La bonne année directed by Claude Lelouch.
With no training, he moved to Paris in the early 1950s and worked in odd jobs, then he started dealing with the night scene.
