- Marv Goux attended Santa Barbara High, Ventura Junior College, and then the University of Southern California. Though not especially big (5' 10", 185 pounds) he became a star player on USC's football teams in 1952, 1954 and 1955. (He was injured in 1953.) During these years he played in two Rose Bowl games and was elected team captain in 1955. He then worked on USC's coaching staff from 1957 to 1982 before taking a job with the L.A. Rams from 1983 to 1994. He acted (unbilled) in only one movie, 1962's Taras Bulba (1962).
