This movie is nothing but an unsuccessful and dull remake of one most famous masterpieces of cinematographic history: "Le jour se lève"(1939) by Marcel Carnè.The most evident mistake the production made is the wrong choice of the leading actress:Barbara Bel Geddes(who was she then?)at ease in her role like a seal in a tropical shore.
