A few of remember the halcyon days of early TV when there were a few good shows. This show set in post-WW2 Europe was one of them. The characters were more than paste-board cut-outs and the situations actually were thought provoking. Daly was consistently good and I always looked forward to seeing it. His walk down those long steps in his rain coat seemed to spark the metaphor of descending into another adventure. Alas, when I look at the garbage being foisted off on viewers today and compare these mindless, glitzy no-brainers, replete with CAG and ridiculous plots, I rejoice that I was around when shows like Foreign Intrigue and Richard Boone's Repertory Theater were being aired. They are missed sorely, believe me.
