I saw it once, 24 years ago and I still recollect the feeling of dread and nauseau, not to mention incredulity, that overwhelmed me as I watched this work of stellar incompetence. In Hollywood's history of making "message pictures," this one has a special place. Never before has someone combined social meaning with horror. And, thanks to PROPHECY, no one will ever do it again. I hope.
