Review of Ratataplan

Ratataplan (1979)
smart intelligent comedy without spoken words
17 September 1999
hiding his mouth under a thick moustache, Nichetti uses visual expressions, body language, gestures, music, and film editing to convey the message. Very little words are spoken. A hilarious movie that is shot in the surroundings of Turin, it displays the intense creativity of a young Nichetti.
