underrated movie
13 April 2004
Chairman of the Board is probably the most underrated comedy of 1998. Although the plot is rather thin, it allows Carrot Top's comedic genius to shine through. This movie is a remarkable translation of his prop comedy and an uproarious performance by Larry Miller should keep Carrot Top's most outspoken detractors satisfied. Admittedly I was skeptical at first, and my expectations were low when I originally sat to watch the movie. Within minutes I was unable to turn the channel, as I was entranced by the wit and imagination of Carrot Top. Carrot Top's acting performance was adequate, but it will not be confused for Oscar caliber. Be that as it may, you have to take the movie for what it is, and enjoy it for what it is.
