A modern King Kong
29 August 2003
Technically film industry has developed itself very much with all new developments of software and photography. This film is one of them showing very interesting effects and enormous gorilla as big as his predecessor King Kong. Here the gorilla is raised by a family somewhere in Africa (Kenya or Uganda?) And he becomes very friendly with the lady of the family always complying with her orders. Hunters are everywhere looking for rare things and the gorilla Joe became attractive to them. In order to avoid the gorilla be hurt by the hunters, a decision taken by the lady and difficult to understand it, he was brought into a Californian park where he behave not very well when he found the persons hunting behind him in the past. The major shortcoming of the film was that the gorillas like to live in hidden green (jungle) environment, and this Joe was always running in open fields. It is a good film because of the photography and the effects, and children may enjoy looking at it.
