this mini-series about a young girl who's being abused physicly and mentally by her parents show us a different side of the personality of céline dion. not being a very good actress but managing well her role, céline dion once again show us other part of her talents that is being capable of adapting herself in a role of a character who's trying to survive in a very arch and hopeless environment. The only thing is that céline dion dos not put any passion to her role, acting most of the time like being passive and some time motionless. maybe this role did not suit her very well, considering her dynamic personality to the one compared of her character.
