I had previously mentioned how much I liked Ebbie with Susan Lucci as one of my favorite Christmas Movies, but this delightful one is my second favorite. Mimi Rogers is one of our truly underappreciated talents, she is wonderful in this film as an unhappy woman who suddenly gets everything she wants and then realizes you should be careful what you wish for! Its a great film not only about Christmas, but about loneliness, kindness, love giving and unfulfilled wishes. Rogers character is so likeable you just feel like cheering for her all the way especially when she gets even with a cruel co-worker. Not to be a spoiler, but this movie had one of the happiest endings you could possibly imagine. I consider it a real Christmas treat. Like Ebbie, I think it is too good to be shown only at Christmas.
