Comely Stephenie ("Tap") lives in affluence with her mother Tina Wong (Joyce Chen?) and is driven to college classes. Happy-go-lucky Hong (Daniel Chen), who lives with his taxi-driver/father and kid sister, becomes self-conscious about his social status after he meets Tap.
