A bunch of film students are allowed to finish off a Hollywood project . Does this actually happen in real life ? If there`s any film students out there who have been allowed to does this can you let me know please ? Oh and the Hollywood exec is called Jerry ? Yeah right , that means Michael Bay would be directing and not some blonde bimbo film student
Have I got across the point this movie is not credible ? Good . That`s not why I hated CUT . The reason I hated it is because it`s a SCREAM clone that thinks it`s being clever when it`s anything but clever . The first 30 minutes are taken up with red herring scenes where you think someone`s been murdered , but they`re not . This happens several times and it really p*ssed me off because I could see these false death scenes coming a mile off and you will too so no spoilers alerts .
Did I like anything about this movie ? Hmmm no . Oh tell a lie , the bad guy is dressed up like a cross between a cenobite and an auton from DOCTOR WHO , oh and at least it wasn`t directed by Vitor Salva . There that`s all the positive praise I`m giving to a film featuring a lot of teens being stalked and slashed by a knife wielding maniac .
