Review of Crossfire Trail

What a great movie. Since I was a small child, the genre of the cowboy western has enthrawled me. The photography is incredible, being filmed in the Canadian Rockies shows the unspoiled West, the love of the land they show in trying to protect and use it wisely. Authentic clothing and weaponry enhance the enjoyment of the picture. I believe the same director was in Quigley Down Under. After all, what else do you need if you have Cowboys, guns, horses, good guys and bad guys. I hope Mr. Selleck continues to make fine westerns. Everyone that has seen this movie has come away impressed with the quality and timeless story of honoring a promise and carrying it out. Doing what is right, even though the consequences may be high.
