Interesting but not great

There are basically two types of war-movies: one taking place in the battle-field and the other showing what happens to civilians in war time; this being of the latter kind. But it has been done better in the past. Much better...

Of course it's not all bad, there are some incredible actors like Grégoire Colin, Jérémie Rénier and Julien Le Gallou; and some memorable lines as well. I don't care very much for Élodie Bouchez, though, she's over-acting throughout the movie, especially towards the end of it. And I think the script could have been better, the actors generally have too many lines and at the end of it I found myself not really caring about what would happen to these people -which is a shame because that's what it's all about.

I give it 3/10, no more, no less
