Was dragged literally to watch this movie and now i regret it. What could easily had been a masterpiece was messed up totally. The characterisations were inconsistent. In the flashback scene, when Aishwarya Rai is dressing up, Devgan shies away from her and when she come to his home on Diwali, he drags her to himself....
there is no surprise shown by Aishwarya when she sees Devgan at her place as if she'd been waiting for. All she says is "Come inside".
tried looking for a deeper meaning but couldn't find it.
And the ending was too abrupt.
That said, the film was brilliant technically, the constant background noise of rain added to the mood.
Performance-wise I won't rate the lead actors highly...but Annu Kapoor and Devgan's friend's wife were good.
All in all, 5 on 10
