Review of The Wedding Date

I whole heartedly disagree with the reviewers. This was a cute movie. When you walk out of the theater it leaves you smiling. Humorous pratfalls that are oh so familiar were used effectively so you laugh, though you already know whats bound to happen. Got a chuckle when the father commented "at least someone was getting some use out of the boat" when Kat and Nick got caught in the morning. The friend "TJ" (Sarah Parish)is a hoot. The chase scene in the end was predictable but still funny. Debra Messing and Dermot Mulroney seemed to be having a good time and it showed in the movie. All in all it was a nice movie. Nobody is going to get an Oscar nomination but it entertained me.
