Warning: Spoilers
Living in a small country as Belgium, it is always interesting to see something written/produced by Belgians. We have quite a lot of good movies, some qualitative series, but the people behind "Matroesjka's" take things to a whole different level.

"Matrjoeska's" starts in Vilnius, Lithuania. A bunch of Belgian crooks are recruiting Lithuanian and Russian girls to make them striptease dancers and later prostitutes in a Belgian nightclub. The story is partially true, as this kind of business is quite common in Eastern Europe. The woman traders promise the girls a future like they would never have in their home countries, and make the girls sign a contact in Greek. Excited and a bit naive, some 10 beautiful girls sign and head for an unknown adventure - a step in the dark.

Once in Antwerp, the girls face the truth. Prostitution, assault, violence, rape, murder and so on. A mixture of culture, languages, behaviour makes a 10 great episodes full of action, nudity and explicit language. Something we all can appreciate once in a while I think.
