OK, so the beginning was not very interesting...maybe only the part when Fiona gave Scotty the jacket which even was not his - that was good. It showed how stupid, bitchy, slut and superficial American girls are.
Next good part was when they came into the pub in England (funny because they were supposed to be in London, I would expect such pub to be in Manchaster - but never mind).
Now moving to the part in Bratislava. I live in Bratislava for 22 years and I have to say that I was only laughing about the stupid and unrealistic way they depicted this place...I was in USA twice and have to say that such destroyed apartment houses (if not much worse) are to be found in USA as well (however people who watch this movie do not know about them). OK, so for all the misled viewers of this movie: BRATISLAVA is the city where you can see better and more luxury cars than I have seen on my visit in New York. Second issue: life in Bratislava has become quite expensive - and what you have seen in the movie would actually cost in Bratislava at least as much as it would cost in USA. Just to put it realistic: cars in Slovakia are more expensive than in USA (due to weak dollar, small market - higher prices), but everything what has an extensive amount of labour work involved would be here quite cheap compared to USA (due to lower salaries obviously). So, as you can see, they could have also (if they were shooting this movie in Bratislava - actually the shot all the European scenes in Prague) showed the city with BMWs, AUDIs and MBs driving around :) Just to understand why they showed Bratislava like the poor city - the makers of the film cooperated with people from Czech Republic and obviously Czech people decided about the character of the Bratislava scene. And because they wanted to make people from Slovakia ashamed, they depicted it as a city from somewhere eastern Russia 30 years ago.
But I can only laugh at it all - and think how stupid some Americans are... Bytheway, you know why so many foreigners come to USA every year? Because even if they are average intelligent and smart the are far, far better than the average American...(little exaggerated, but I think after seeing this movie I can afford to say that:) Have a nice day and hope I corrected some of your misled ideas...
