Redemption from despair...
31 August 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I do not know why this movie is not yet fully entered in IMDb. It has been running in Europa, won some high prices there and its running in Canada (French Quebec)is making an epoch-making effect...Marvelous and astonishing. It is a master-piece of simplicity, clearness and humanity; spiritual but not religious. The redemption of a female doctor going toward suicide happens through meeting a young simpleton guy...Great art...!!! I love cinema and hope that a great number of film-lovers will enjoy this movie as much as I did...I can add that one of the best qualities of this work is the following: although it has been filmed in a the biggest catholic shrine in the world, it does not bear a religious message: just a highly spiritual teaching (The doctor remains atheistic, at the end, after having been saved from suicide through her relation with the highly religious young guy...)
