The Rockman franchise is one of the best franchises of platform-games, with numerous sequels, the blue boy has enjoyed a unique success and especially he has gained his own fandom. It is hard to believe that some kids play this game, that may happen but Rockman X4 is a gift for the loyal fans. At the time Rockman X4 was released Capcom was trying to adapt the Rockman world to 3D environments, but still they developed this sequel in a classic Rockman style with some visual improvements.
The game itself is moderately difficult, increases its difficulty after the first initial levels. These first levels offer the usual side-scrolling 2D world. Some ability with the buttons and patience will be necessary, because there will be some failures on the way while the right way of face all the Robots-bosses is found.
