Review of Göta kanal eller Vem drog ur proppen?

The movie is considered being one of the classic Swedish comedies, but in my opinion it's not any funny. The concept of the film, about the competing boats would be good enough to make something of, and they have a great cast. The special effects are also good, thinking about it being an old Swedish 80's movie. But the jokes aren't funny. There's no funny situation comedy nor any good verbal jokes. They are just talking incoherently and falling or pushing each other into the water. Too bad.

Good old Swedish films are for example "Jönssonligan", "Sällskapsresan" or the films starring Björn Skifs. This one does not belong in the same league.
