Great Independent Film
15 July 2006
It's nice to see a real western made by fans of the old gunslinger films of the 60's and 70's. The Devil Wears Spurs is a great film for anyone and everyone of all ages to enjoy. The locations are just as beautiful, if not more, than the old Sergio Leone locals of his famous movies. The actors, set pieces, and costume design are authentic and fun. The cinematography looks great, especially considering it was shot on a super 16mm film camera. David Box contributes mightily with daring and adventures scores to accompany the stunning visuals. All in all, Charlton Thorp and Nick Sowell did an incredible job making this low budget feature that every young, aspiring film maker should see.
