Review of The Devil Wears Spurs

This was an excellent first effort by the creative team of Nick Sowell and Charlton Thorp. Entertaining, well scripted, and beautifully executed, this movie proves that some people just have movie making in their blood! Although the budget was limited, the cast and crew managed to use their resources and a beautiful backdrop to display some amazing scenic visuals. Their research paid off; as each scene was a picture from an old western photograph, including authentic costumes and period appropriate hair and makeup. Paired with a dark and brooding score, this story of a man and his haunting past was incredibly entertaining. I can't wait to see the next piece of work from these talented young artists!
