Pleasant surprise - likable actresses

Warning: Spoilers
This series is currently running on the French TV. On of the type of films the French do best are the police thrillers or "policiers" as they are called and this series is no exception. Each episode does of course deal with solving a murder, but the interesting thing is the relationship between the procureur and the police lieutenant, both relatively good looking young ladies who get along well together and above all have a delicious sense of humour. I have only seen about 5 or 6 episodes of this but there has always been an ample dose of humour and quite witty lines ! The procureur is divorced but has children at home and maintains good relations with her ex who pops in to see the kids quite often. The police lieutenant lives on her own but appears to be secretly in love with one of her neighbours in the apartment block but he doesn't realise this and thinks she is just a good friendly neighbour. This gives rise to some comic and lightweight situations which contrast with the gruesomness of some of the murders. I assume the series would only be available in French-speaking countries but I would have thought that with correct and legible subtitling, it would give an idea to other countries of French Humour of today and everyday French life.
