Review of Il Duce Canadese

I watched this mini series on the CBC with great interest. As a second generation Italian I was very surprised at the severity of the attack on Italians in Quebec and Canada during the second world war. This series should be required viewing for all Italo Canadians as it concisely depicts the prejudiced experienced by our ancestors during a time when we did not expect it.

In my opinion this movie was beautifully acted and the costuming supreme. The scenery and cinematography was also commendable. For me, this movie is a must see and a must keep for every collector of Italian-Canadian History.
