Although it has been years since this movie aired on television, I have never forgotten it. I wish very much that it would be released into public viewing through DVD or VSH. I would love to see it again. It is an excellent movie. I think one of Sam Elliot's best. I began to grow a little tired of him in later years because you knew how his character would be in each movie, as he seems to be the very same in them all. The stiff, angry, bad mood character with a vendetta. However, I do like most of his westerns. Any chance they could someday release this movie? The movie would do very well with the older generation wanting realistic movies to watch that involve real life characters and a time and place they can relate to. All of the actors in this movie were really good at the characters they portrayed.
