Tiger Warsaw (1988)
7/10
Actually an above average viewing, it has lots of heart, and was fully watchable I rather liked it! *Spoilers*

Warning: Spoilers
Tiger Warsaw is actually a pretty decent film, it's got lots of heart, and a great cast which includes a fine performance from Patrick Swayze for the most part. In many ways Patrick is the heart and soul of this film and he carries it pretty well, and the ending is nice and heartwarming, however the low budget, and some scenes felt overly corny for my tastes(especially that god awful music!). At times Patrick's character is overly selfish but for the most part I felt for him, and the scene where Chuck(Swayze) reunites with his father is touching and heartfelt, however it did have it's dull scenes here and there not many though. It's a tear jerker alright, and very harshly treated by all the critics, and it's too bad Swayze never became the box office superstar everyone predicted cause he was a solid actor, plus I feel it's one of his most underrated movies. Overall this is a solid little flick, and I recommend it give it a chance you may like it. *** out of 5

The Acting is pretty good. Patrick Swayze is excellent for the most part, there were a couple times he over did it, but for the most part it's a heartfelt performance, and at times an emotional one, this guy Doesen't get enough credit he carried this as far as i'm concerned. Piper Laurie is great as the mom, she was very convincing, if only she had more screen time. Lee Richardson is awesome as the dad,he was quite intense and those scenes he had with Swayze were so touching. Mary McDonnell is OK as Paula but annoyed the crap out of me as I thought she was so selfish. Barbara Williams is good as Swayze's girlfriend she did a solid job and had good chemistry with Swayze. Bobby Di Cicco is good as Tony I liked him.
