It is not a clever or artistic film, but as an ott action flick it works really well! Films like this aren't meant to be realistic, they are just meant to be entertaining. Films and TV shows these days (take CSI for example) always seem to have far fetched and ridiculous technologies but its just part of keeping you watching... I mean the bit that everyone complains about with the hacking of the NSA computer, if we had to wait for the guy to hack it, it would really slow down the film, hence it being skipped over.
I like both of the XXX films and hope they make a third... explosions, gun fire, stunts, bad-guys, you name it they've got it... I really think people should lighten up and take the films as they are intended.
