Really great show!

Warning: Spoilers
With it's macabre opening sequence, music and Jack Palance, this show had the fright appeal of a Saturday matinée horror film but was also informative as well! Although sometimes a tad morbid with some of the topics covered (like, unusual food dishes or other non traditional curiosities), you'd remain glued to your television anyhow to watch it till the very end.

The show hit upon a number of various mythos which made for some rather fun and interesting trivia; One such example (although obscure), was regarding the legend of the Frankenstein monster; Near the ending of one episode, Mr. Palance "divulged" that in the frozen arctic (?? Can't fully recall; I only vaguely remember), "a twisted, blue colored, frozen body of a man was discovered...believe it...or not!!" Being a kid when this aired, i always thought that was cool! What kid wouldn't marvel at the prospect of the Frankenstein monster being real?? It was indeed fun television and a one of a kind program, with Mr. Palance's chilling deliveries making the experience bringing the effect of the show to 3 dimensional life. Great show! And Jack Palance, host extraordinaire, is one of the greats and is very much missed!
