I went into this movie without knowing what it was about, and as it progressed I was afraid it was going to develop into a clone of Event Horizon. I'm pleased to say it didn't. Whilst it's a horror movie, it's not overly gory and there's plenty of action, even if the scenes are hard to follow because of the quick cutting between camera angles.
It's not going to win Oscars but even though there were blood hungry mutants which stretch the bounds of probability and there were echoes of other space horror movies, it's more believable and enjoyable than some of the earthbound movies I saw in the last year.
The plot is not that complicated but there are a couple of nice twists which keep it rolling along and which differentiate it from the standard horror. There are lots of opportunities to jump our of your chair so don't choke on the popcorn!
