Considering that the star of this latest WWE action yarn, Ted DiBiase, Jr. inherited not a drop of his father's charisma, I had the lowest of expectations for this film. Not surprisingly, Dibiase's wooden screen presence induced a viscous cycle of yawns and eye rolling.
The yawns occurred whenever he uttered a word of dialogue and the eyes were rolling every time he played action hero fighter. His character was supposedly a special forces Marine (Recon) yet he's running around in a commando t-shirt using pro wrestling moves against Muay Thai fighters; he might as well been wearing his wrestling trunks.
With a comically embarrassing fight choreography in combination with a senseless plot full of ridiculous contrivances, I was pushing the fast forward button like mad.
A total waste of time and WWE films needs to retool if they expect to do anything more than make bad direct to DVD flicks.
