I must admit it took a few episodes to get used to Kelsey not being Dr. Crane but once I did I loved Back to You.
By the end of the series I loved the chemistry and family feel of the news crew and was genuinely sad when I found out it had been cancelled. Contrary to other comments I've seen about Back to You I think they could have explored other avenues with the storyline even after it was revealed that Chuck was Gracies father. I even managed to get over the producers changing the actress who played Gracie and also Montana leaving altogether.
I'm not sure if I'm right about this but I think that Back to You probably worked better for audiences outside of the US.
My favourite episode is Hostage Watch where all the actors shine.
