I was once the character in this film a few years ago. I too could not get a full time job after graduating and had to resort to working bad jobs for 3 years until I got something full time. This has a good plot to it which a lot of people can relate too. The only bad thing about the movie is the stupid subplots such as with the father buying stolen merchandise or the son wanting to build a box car. Those were completely unnecessary and kind of ruin the film. If the story was more focused on the main character and had better subplots this could have been a great film. The main character was believable and you could relate to her struggles. I however did not like the end as she ended her dream in order to be with her best friends. I don't' see the point of that as you should not change your dreams to please other people in my opinion.
