I feel this is a very well made documentary. It really looks at this problem from many different angles and seems to contain less of the obvious liberal bias that most of these sorts of things do. Although, I'm sure you liberals will find plenty to enjoy as well. It really presents an intriguing question, why is it that this school district is among the most well funded in the world, yet students can't take their books home? Further, it presents an interesting scenario where a student is transported to Oregon and greeted with a kind of adulation, yet doesn't seem to enjoy it, rather preferring to return to an area that many would view as unpleasant to say the least.

Overall, I would recommend one views this movie or that its be shown on cable TV or something. the narration is strong, as is the writing and the 3 students followed are quite charismatic.
