Review of The Human Revolution

I agree with the review & comments by Pninson (Seattle WA). One difference is that I am still a practicing member of Nichiren Buddhism having joined May 7, 1967 Okinawa, Japan. I too viewed this when it was initialed shown at a theater in Chicago IL. For me it was very moving and the performance by Tetsuro Tanba is excellent. I have had the pleasure of seeing this fine actor in a number of Japanese films as well as the James Bond character Tiger Tanaka. Just weeks ago, Nov 2010, I again had the opportunity to see this film again and still find it very inspiring even if it lacks the commercial and sometimes "slick" appearance found in most films of today. For those who do not like sub-titles or foreign films this might be a difficult film to enjoy. But, to those who have a seeking mind and wish to learn some of the deeper meanings of Life and the meaning of Life from the perspective of a Nichiren Buddhist this film has answers.
