I have seen about a dozen episodes now. By now I can say a few things about this show with utter surety.
The most notable one to me is that the authors have never been to Narcotics Anonymous and it shows, badly. I have spent enough time in AA meetings to know that. The worst part is their notion of a "sponsor." You wouldn't get a sponsor who could be in a sexual tension situation. It's one of the things VERY clearly stated in the "Big Book" of Alcoholics Anonymous. Yet this happens not once but twice. They use it as a convenience but it hurts to watch.
This sloppy writing carries onto other areas and will kill the show. Not even having Buffy and Richard Alpert from Lost is the detective after her can save it.
