Personally, i've liked this movie, i already knew the actors ( Hugo Weaving and David Wenham, both are played in the most popular trilogy, The Lord of the Rings ), there is only one thing which disturbed me, it's about the fathers, there is mention of the mothers in the whole film, but not about fathers, it's a little bit strange do you think so ? like Joe Mason, an English webuser, who has found that strange, like me. Except that, i've really liked the film, not like some webusers. For me, the subject about this dark episode of England has been very well dealt with and adapted to the cinema, for his first film, Jim Loach looks great, like his father.
