Good Bad but mainly Ugly

Couldn't see film on TV so rented it from Film4OD. The black and white cinematics was excellent, the performances on the whole were excellent, the plot seemed to have been created when the writers were high on mushy tea. Four men head to the alehouse after deserting a Civil War battle,on their way they come across mushrooms and a rope, there the plot ends and total insanity sets in, both in the movie and the directors chair. The scenes that were most memorable were in the trailer, which most movies do this as you know, however there are plenty more of them in most movies. This film was very thin on scenes that would stay with you. Someone screaming in a tent when neither you nor the director knows what is happening to him is certainly memorable for lack of storyline.

I am waiting for the Directors Cut where it is all made clear, we get into the tent, find out who O'Neill really is and just what exactly this whole mushy magic lunacy is all about., It was worth my 3 pounds to see, however I think that the only way this film was ever going to make any impact at all, was to release it in the way they did.
