Pleasant and enjoyable.

"Happy Anniversary" is an Oscar-winning short film co-written and co-directed by Jean-Claude Carrière and Pierre Étaix. Additionally, Étaix stars in this one.

The film is about a couple's anniversary. You see the wife trying to create the perfect dinner for them--during which time you see her husband going through a very long and drawn out trip home to celebrate. The problem is that one time after another, little things happen to him--such as him being unable to find parking, getting stuck in traffic as well as accidentally destroying the flowers he bought his wife. All of this is mildly funny--none of it is particularly hilarious. In other words, it's pleasant and quite enjoyable but not much more. Interesting and worth seeing since it is a short film of only about 10 minutes.
