Too be honest, I never cared very much about this series. Some years ago, I saw a couple of episodes from it and I found them to be completely unremarkable in one way or another.
The animation isn't anything special and the character designs weren't frankly my cup of tea.
The plot had some potential, but the characters (both good and bad) were so bland and generic that I couldn't care about them. The entire cast from "Winx Club" was made of one-dimensional clichés: The main girls and their romantic interests were practically "perfect", while villains were just plain evil without any single element that could made them at least remotely interesting. Even those Saturday Morning Cartoons based on toys had better and more memorable characters than this boring and forgettable show. I would dare to say that even the corny Barbie movies had more "personality" than the "Winx Club". Not that I like them very much.
