I have given this a strong 10/10 for a number of reason that should not be taken lightly. Firstly, the cast is seriously second to none. Kivanc and Mert really excelled in their rolls showing a deep devotion to their characters which were played fluently. People who have seen Kivanc in "Aski-Memnu" and "Kuzey and Guney" will no doubt realise how much of a personal sacrifice he must have made in loosing so much weight and preparation for this role, while also see a huge change in his mannerism, style and subtle performance. As for Mert, all I can say is that he has shown an equal level of performance with a beautifully played companion throughout the complete film. The film itself is certainly an original, with a few surprising twists and a sense of glamour, style and historical value to it. This is one of those Turkish films I wish the Oscars and the Cannes Film festival should have taken very seriously as a candidate for the Turkish entry as opposed to choosing films from Turkey that are always centred against the state!
