The principal point of the story will be lost
28 August 2015
Where people are accustomed to going on vacations and watching the bluffs at the different summer hotels this film will appear for exactly what it is, an excellent bit of humor; but in those parts of the country where vacations are unknown it will be a good deal like a Greek play, the acting will seem pretty, but it will scarcely be intelligible. The so- called bluffs are unknown to a vast proportion of motion picture patrons and the principal point of the story will be lost. However this may be, the story, the picture and the acting constitute a consummate bit of work which contains a plentiful proportion of genuine humor. - The Moving Picture World, October 1, 1910
